This endearing exhibit of family life will continue at the Italian Cultural Center through February. The exhibit will be open to the public
on weekends from 11 to 3 PM. Many Italians in America trace their regional ancestry to the Island of Dicily. In fact, Sicilians are one of the largest of the Italian groups to settle
in the United States. In California, Sicilians played an important role in the development of the coastal fishing industry and particularly in the fishing communities of Monterey,
San Francisco, Pittsburgh and San Diego.
