Right is a picture of the Kearsing home on Bright Street. Built around 1863, beneath the home was (and is) a basement hacked from
solid rock. Just outside the additions entrance, under cover, is the venerable well, shallow and full, but no longer used. The rest of the story can be read in Larry Cenotto's
