Sutter Creek Episcopal Methodist, Sutter Creek, California

In 1861 under leadership of Rev. I. B. Fish this church was built . Trustees incorporated the church as the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1862

This view of the church is after 1895 showing that the vestry was added. Records show that there were about 11 members in 1859, just prior to having the church built.

This photo dates between 1895 and 1905, with a group of girls dressed in their finest white dresses. Its amazing seeing all them in white and looking so proper.

In 1861 under leadership of Rev. I.B. Fish this church was built . Trustees incorporated the church as the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1862. Between 1863 and 1867 the Ladies Aid Society gave $1,300 for the back room addition. The steeple was added in 1976
