Old Arcade Hotel

The Arcade Hotel was built around Ione's first log house. In December of 1889, the building caught fire and several business were lost in addition to the drugstore and hotel

Ione Post Office

The U.S. Post Office branch opened in the Ione Valley on September 3, 1852, at the Q Ranch. It was then moved to Ione City on February 16, 1857.
