From Hwy 49 at Dry Creek Bridge, North 0.2 mile to entrance on left. Johann Heinrich Meiss(1793-1865) Served in the Prussian Army during Napoleon's first conquest of Europe. Came to Drytown 1852, established first butcher shop in area in 1854.
