Berry's Sawmill, sometime during the years 1929 to 1934 the photograph to the right was taken of the C.A.Berry and son's sawmill near Cook's station. The mill burned down in 1934, and another was built. It remained in operation until about 1960. It remains sort of a ghost town, its numerous worker's cabins empty and deteriorating at 4,200 feet in the Sierra.
