Timothy and Olive Hinckley

When digging the foundation for his home in 1863, Timothy Hinckley uncovered quartz gold. The bonanza probably paid for the house, and a couple of trips to the eastern states. Pictured above is Olive, his wife, who died in 1869, and Timothy, a Jackson pioneer who arrived here in 1840 or 1850. For the rest of the story look in Larry Cenotto's Logans Vol. II.
