Jackson Theater (Ratto), California

Prior to the Ratto Theatre being constructed, this area was known as part of Chinatown on Jackson's Main Street. Surely we are saddened by the destruction by fire and razing of Jake Strohm's building in Jackson. once a silent cinema and pugilistic center named the Ratto Theater

The Theater has long been a form of entertainment in Jackson. This photograph taken in 1935.
