    Ione Parlor No. 33

    This building, built in the year of 1854, was originally a hardware store on the ground floor and a dance hall on the upper floor. Ione Parlor No. 33, N.S.G.W. bought the building in the year 1884 and has continuously owned it and met here ever since.

    Ione Masonic Lodge

    The Masonic Lodge Hall, upper left, and Native Sons Hall upper right. Masonic lodge in Ione was organized in 1855.

    City Hall

    The Commercial Hotel once stood here, then Ione City. The original building was built in 1884 by James Mc Cauley. The City of Ione purchased the bulding in the 1960's, and now serves as City Hall.

    The Iron Ivan

    The Iron Ivan

    Near City Hall, is the "Iron Ivan", seventh and last steam engine used by Amador Central Railroad. This engine was manufactured in Jan. of 1901 and was brought to the Amador Central Railroad in 1937. The last trip was made by this engine between Ione and Martell in 1956.
