  • Drytown Public Cemetery, Drytown

    From Hwy 49 at Dry Creek Bridge, North 0.2 mile to entrance on left. The cemetery is only accessable by appointment only.

    Johann Heinrich Meiss (1793-1865)
    Served in the Prussian Army during Napoleon's first conquest of Europe. Came to Drytown 1852, established the first butcher shop in the area in 1854.
