    The Amador City Cemetery is located in Amador City. From hwy 49 - North on Church Street, 1 block west of the Imperial Hotel

    Oliver Vance (1848-1880)
    One of numerous people killed in mining accidents. He died when he was crushed by a skip in the Keystone Mine. Left behind a wife and 5 children who received death benefits from the Ancient Order of United Workmen, one of many benevolent societies supplying an early form of life insurance
